Welcome to my very first blog!

I'm not quite sure where to start so bear with me!

Well..... my experience of ICT is rather limited, I tinker with the usuals such as Facebook, Hotmail, Ebay blah blah blah but nothing too complex that will end up confusing me!

In schools I use ICT where I feel it's appropriate or will enhance children's learning such as using ITPs in introductions or plenaries. I like to use interactive games or programmes where the children can come up to the IWB and join in. I've never really pushed myself and used anything fancy in school such as blogging, mainly because I like to feel safe and am afraid to take the risk, but would like to give it a go! I think it has the potential to allow children to really take control of their learning and interact with each other... and of course, take advantage of the wonderful Web 2.0 technology!!

Anyway, I think I'll leave it there for now and conclude my very first blog! Exciting times!
